Save time for research
There are times when you just want to get your point across as immediately as possible. But there’s actually no need for you to type all those web addresses just to surf through the internet.
Just hold down your phone’s full-stop icon all the while typing a web address. This technique will give you shortcut series of URLs from the classics to the less used ones.
Lock the focal point of your camera
It can be so annoying when you have tapped the focus of your camera but lose it when you move. Don’t put up with this any longer.
You only simply have to long-press the screen for a second or more and wait for the “AF Locked” box to appear. If it does, you can now move your phone around without the focal point disappearing now and then.
Alter your default browsers or accounts
Since the day you bought your phone, your default web browser has always been Safari. If you delete the app, then your phone will switch to the next browser you have.
But without deleting the app, you can always alter the default browser in your phone, especially if you’re using iOS 14. It’s your choice. You can pick either Firefox, Google Chrome, or whatever browser you prefer.
When opening the email, you don’t have to put up with the automatic Apple Mail when what you actually always need is Gmail or Outlook. Go ahead and change your default web browser and accounts for your convenience.
Hide the apps that you don’t use
iPhones are built to enhance humans’ lives so, on the day of purchase, you’ll see plenty of apps that you will probably not be using every day, although you still should make sure you keep them updated.
To move them to your app library, simply click the remove app option from a certain app’s quick actions then tap the move to app library.

Go to the Clock app, then to the Timer. Choose the stop playing tag under the when the time ends tag. Whether you’re using Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, or anything, they should stop when the timer reaches zero.
Make the screen smaller
Do you usually just text using one hand? Make it more convenient by making the screen smaller. All you have to do is move the keyboard nearer to your right or left palm by holding the emoji button.
Then, select your preferred keyboard side. This allows the entire screen to be more accessible for those with hands of average size.
